Concors

CONCORS is an adventurous Australian/Norwegian jazz quintet initiated by Norwegian improvising saxophonist Petter Frost Fadnes and Australian saxophonist Robert Burke. Robert Burke is an improviser, composer and educator, who has collaborated with international luminaries including George Lewis, Enrico Rava, and Hermeto Pascoal. Stavanger-based saxophonists Petter Frost Fadnes and Kristoffer Alberts bring additional power and lyricism to the horn-section. The quintet is propelled by acoustic bassist Per Zanussi, known for his rich sense of pulse and inventive harmonic awareness and Dag Magnus Narvesen, who combines acute responsiveness with textural finesse.
