Eva Malling studied bass with amongst others ‘the great Dane’ Nils Henning Ørsted Pedersen at the Conservatory of Rhythmic Music in Copenhagen. A stalwart of Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Eva has played in festivals and venues around Europe. As a recipient of the prestigious Sonning Music Award, Eva furthered her studies at the world renowned Hanns Eisler Hochshule Für Musik in Berlin. Together with Sanne Graulund and Benita Haastrup, she is a member of She Trio since 2012 and appears on two albums with Haftor Medbøe Group and with Haftor and Gunnar Halle on the album Hvor En Var Baen..
